If you're self conscious in front of a camera, do not worry. I will find your best angles and the best light... better than your partner or auntie with an iPhone. I promise you will enjoy your time in front of my lens because I am really easy going and will compliment the heck out of your best features. I honestly think that everyone is beautiful in their own unique way and cannot wait to photograph YOUR unique self!!
How it Works
Step 01
Getting comfortable
I want us to get to know each other so that I feel like a familiar friend in the room when it comes time to take photos. We'll have a phone consultation before the event and I may even ask you to fill out a questionnaire about yourselves. If you book a wedding with me, I offer an engagement session, which really helps me to get to know you and for you to feel comfortable with me prior to the big day. I've been told by my husband that I am very easy going so I hope that character trait serves to put you at ease.
Step 02
Being your beautiful selves
My preferred style of photography is generally very unposed. Occasionally I may give you small prompts to get you to do something but then I'll sit back and observe and capture all the unplanned moments. We will do a small amount of posed photos. The vast majority will be active, moving, unposed moments where your beautiful selves will shine most authentically.
Step 03
Editing your photos
Family sessions are edited in approximately 2-4 weeks. Wedding couples receive approximately 30 images within 48 hours and the remainder are delivered within 6-8 weeks. I will painstakingly look at every image out of hundreds or thousands and choose the best ones and then crop, enhance colour, contrast, exposure, etc until they are to my liking. Once they are complete, I will email you a link to the gallery where you can download your images. I always provide images in both colour and black and white.
Step 04
Choosing memories to treasure
Once the link to your gallery has been emailed to you, you can download the images included in your package straight away in full resolution. It's super easy and I am always available if you have any questions or concerns. Do you want to showcase your photos on your walls or in an album? I can help you with that too but you're under no pressure to buy extras from me.

All packages include the session fee, full editing in a style consistent with my portfolio and full printing rights (you don't have to buy prints or albums through me but you can if you want to).

When do I pay? How do I pay?For family sessions, a €100 booking fee is due when scheduling. The remaining balance is due one week prior to your session. For weddings, a €500 retainer is paid when you book. The balance is due 1 week before the wedding. Send me a message and I will be happy to send you my current pricing guide. Fees can be paid with cash, credit card, or by bank transfer.

Do you offer prints and photo albums?Yes! I can do these for you from really top-notch professional printers. Some people like to do these themselves and that's okay too! You will have full printing rights so you can do it with your own printing company. Some people like to have me do it because it's one of those tasks that gets put on the long finger otherwise. Especially with photo albums, I can help you design these to make life easier for you!

Why should I hire you versus another photographer?There are a lot of photographers out there and so it can be difficult to pick one. Does your personality jive with mine? When you read my website and talk to me on the phone, does this click well with your personality? I shoot with two Sony mirrorless cameras and prime Sigma ART lenses. This means that I can sometimes use a silent shutter during our shoot and you won't hear "click, click, click" and you can focus on being in the moment. My lenses offer a really creamy blurred background and a sharply focused subject when that is called for in a photo. Price matters but isn't the most important thing. I'm not the cheapest but I'm also not the most expensive either. I try to offer true quality at a price point that covers my expenses and time but that is affordable for many. Photography is truly a passion of mine and I'm not doing it purely for money. Do you like my editing style? Take a look at the photos on my website. I aim to edit in a timeless, clean style and don't follow fads that can change very quickly. I try to make things pretty true to the colours that I see in real life. Skin tones will be natural and colours will be slightly enhanced to pop in the photos. I have been doing photography for 10+ years so I can think on my toes in almost any situation and know when something isn't working and how to resolve issues to ensure that you are happy with the end results If you are looking for something else, I know a lot of really talented women photographers in Ireland and can happily refer you to someone with a different style to mine. In the end, I just want you to love your images and I want to support other women in the field if they are a better fit for you than me.
